Seriously, aren’t they the cutest cheeks you’ve ever seen?

See what I am saying. All throughout the session, I can’t control myself. My heart goes “awwww”, but my mind says “stop it. let’s get these moments captured before she wakes up”. It was a conflict of emotions. But neither one of them was the winner or the loser. The heart and the mind balanced together to find the perfect poses and outfit. A balance just like her name. Did you know that the name Olivia is “an admirable balance of strength and femininity” (thanks for the information Nameberry.com)

Another great thing – mom was a perfect partner in planning the session. I believe she browsed the entire site, and shared photos and photography newborn sessions that she loved. During the initial consultation, we discussed color preferences – she liked whites, creams, pinks, and mint, backgrounds – that look plush and soft. I encourage all parents who come for newborn photography to ask questions and plan sessions together so the results are awesome, just like in this case.
