Newborn Photography Metuchen New Jersey session for Eva

If you’ve read even a few of my posts, you know how I excited I am about the joy of newborn photography. The little munchkins are the best models to work with, have the cutest poses, and while the smiles may not come quickly, they are worth every second you waited for them.

It might not seem possible but every now and then, this joy of newborn photography can increase several fold. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a little girl who is a fighter. She was born at 31 weeks and came to me when she was 2 months of age. But the poses and the expressions she gave, uff, that’s a DIVA in the making. She smiled, seemed angry, puffed her cheeks, but my favorite, she slept like an angel. That’s the first picture in the series below.

And her strength boosted my confidence in posing a 2-month old as a newborn. Frankly, I was behaving like a kid in a candy store. I could not move fast enough or think fast enough to come up with various color combinations that would look “Oh, just wonderful!” on a girl. Whether it was the pretty pink with purple, or blue with brown, or white on a hardwood floor – I couldn’t stop thinking!

But I loved it, and thank you little angel for letting me capture your beauty in these shots. Hope you’ll enjoy them when you grow up, as much as I did taking them.
